Trump's counselor chosen

Former campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, was chosen as Trump's counselor what makes her the most influential woman in the White House. Conway was the first female campaign manager for the major party to win a presidential general election.

The president-elect stated that Conway played a very important role during presidential campaign and contributed to Trump's victory. She has been serving as a key member of Trump’s transition team since his victory on 8 November. She came on board as campaign manager in August, after Trump fired Corey Lewandowski and Paul Manafort from this position.

She quickly became one of the most crucial campaign’s managers, making frequent television appearances to defend Trump’s actions, no matter how controversial they became. Thanks to this, Conway was credited with helping to soften the campaign’s and Trump's image. Trump has praised Conway as an example of his support and promotion of women.

Conway was recently criticized for suggesting that mothers shouldn’t take up roles in the White House. At the same time she is he mother of four children (all under the age of 12) herself. She implied that husbands wouldn't like mothers of their children to sacrifice to such job.

Trump Still in "Celebrity Apprentice"?

Not as a host. Trump will be replaced by... Arnold Schwarzenegger.

However, he will still be the executive producer of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. It may be a bit surprising for some of us after Trump's declaration of giving up his business "in total". Some may say: "Yeah, that's what I thought." ;)

"Presidents have a right to do things in their spare time," told CNN Kellyanne Conway. She also says that Trump consults experts who tell him what the President of the United States can and cannot do so no one should worry about that activity,

What is more, Trump will be one of multiple executive producers and it is not clear what his exact role will be. "Some executive producers are given the title but do not have to actively work on the project." It is also not sure if he'll be receiving a payment for his work. As the President of the United States he has to avoid conflicts of interest.
